For this Tuesday's "Word for the Week" I took a leap of faith--I decided to "let the little childrenlead us," and I interviewed a little 8-year-old kid from my church.
Nothing was planned... I told her to pick a Scripture, and we would pray
beforehand, then allow the Holy Spirit to guide our conversation about the Scripture that she chose.
She picked a passage from the Book of Job.
The stuff that proceeded to come out of this child's mouth left me stunned,
inspired, moved, convicted... an anointing fell upon this kid, and it was all recorded. I was out of my own comfort zone having no notes in front of me, but it didn't matter, all I had to do was unleash wee Emily onto the world.
I have a special feeling about this message, that God will use it...
