In February 1966, J.D. began an interview program with average Christian people on WDAD radio in Indiana, Pennsylvania. The program was then called the Laymen's Witness.

Now in our 55th year... the program has been renamed "The Christian Witness" and has become one of the longest running radio shows of its kind in America! The program still airs on WDAD during "This Sunday Morning" following the 8 o'clock news. This is also rebroadcast on WMUG Radio on Sunday morning at 9:00 am

Ben, your story of Faith has now been “embraced” with some appropriate music and has been prepared on a CD to take to RENDA for broadcast on WDAD this coming Sunday morning...following the 8 a.m. news. Then, your story will be broadcast on WMUG-FM/wmugradio.org at 9 a.m. (In case there is anyone in Solin, Ohio—they can hear your story on the web.)

Then , we replay the Christian Witness program NEXT FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 5, on WMUG-FM/wmugradio.org at 10 a.m. and finally at 7 p.m

DR. GARY BUTERBAUGH will be our guest on Sunday, August 1, at 8 a.m. on WDAD, and at 9 a.m. on WMUG-FM/wmugradio.org

Our Christian Witness guest this weekend will be LARRY HENRY, an over-the-road truck driver, who also serves as the co-pastor of the “Heart of Grace” ministry located on Rt 119 North of Indiana, along with his wife, Lorraine.    Sorry, we don’t have his photo to share.  Program will be broadcast on WDAD at 8 a.m. and on WMUG-FM at 9 a.m. and streamed on wmugradio.org     (and replayed on WMUG-FM/wmugradio.org on Friday, July 30, at 10 a.m. and at 7 p.m.)  

Our guest for this upcoming MEMORIAL DAY Sunday will be Pastor Lorraine Henry, co-pastor with her husband, of the newer church located on Rt 119 North, just north of the 119 By-pass north of Indiana.    Her program will be broadcast on WDAD at 8 a.m. this coming Sunday; and at 9 a .m. on WMUG-FM and streamed at wmugradio.org Then her program will replay on WMUG-FM/wmugradio.org on Friday, June 4, at 10 a.m. and finally at 7 p.m.

Our CW guest for Sunday, May 16, will be OYANGO BURNEY...a U.S. military veteran from Philadelphia, now living in Indiana, PA.   While employed by Amerigas as a Hydro tester, he attends Ohio Christian University on line.   His story of Faith will be heard on WDAD at 8 a.m. and on WMUG-FM  (and streamed on wmugradio.org) at 9 a.m. Then, his program will be repeated on WMUG-FM/wmugradio.org on FRIDAY, May 21, at 10 a.m. and finally at 7 p.m.

Our guest on Sunday, March 14, will be Heather Sparr, wife of Pastor Rob Sparr of the Graystone Presbyterian Church.   She will be heard on WDAD following the 8 a.m. news on WDAD; and then she will be heard at 9 a.m. on WMUG-FM...and streamed on wmugradio.org at 9 a.m.  She is the mother to Joel, Isabelle; and Yabby, and is a graduate of Geneva College. Her program will replay on FRIDAY, March 19, on WMUG-FM/wmugradio.org at 10 a.m. and finally at 7 p.m

Her Christian Witness will be on WDAD at 8 a.m. (following the 8 a.m. NEWS) AND THEN  at 9 a.m. on WMUG-FM/and streamed on wmugradio.org at the same time

Then, this program will replay on WMUG-FM/wmugradio.org on FRIDAY, MARCH 12, at 10 a.m. and finally at 7 p.m.

Valerie owns and operates ESSENTIAL BODY WORKS, LLC, at 1163 Water Street in Indiana—as a Massage-Therapist.   She’s married to RICK and they have four daughters: BETH; JESS; NICOLE; and ERIKA.  She attends the Word of Grace Fellowship

ALEX VARNER will be our guest this Sunday.   He is the owner/operator of ALEXANDER SPECIALTY, LLC and is married to Elise.  Together they are the parents of GRAYSON, age 8, TUCKER, age 6, and CHARLOTTE, age 4.   The family attends the Lord Jesus Christ Assembly in Indiana.   His Story of Faith will be broadcast on WDAD following the 8 a.m. news, and then on WMUG-FM at 9 a.m. and streamed on the web  (wmugradio.org) at the same time.

Then the program will be rebroadcast on FRIDAY, JANUARY 29, on WMUG/wmugradio.org at 10 a.m. and finally at 7 p.m.   It is a wonderful story of a faith-filled family.

Listening to The Christian Witness program is like a verbal "Guideposts" -- in that people from various walks of life share their stories of how their Faith in Christ took on greater significance.
